Among the distinguished audience were Bob Marley fans, actors and filmmakers, musicians, racing drivers, publishers, members of the press and film buffs. The main screen of the British Film Institute was a witness to showers of laughter and tears. "Memory is a very private thing", said Esther during the Q&A session after the screening.
Until now, NAACP Image Award actress Esther Anderson had refused to appear on camera to share her extraordinary story. The London Premiere did not disappoint the audience. Esther's personal account on camera was electrifying, taking the audience through a powerful emotional journey to the centre of her relationship with Bob Marley, while trying to overcome the obstacles of prejudice to create a Jamaican Reggae band like The Beatles or The Rolling Stones in the early seventies.
Among the most powerful moments in the film is The Wailers first rehearsal in 56 Hope Road, part of Esther Anderson's priceless video footage -Please visit the BBC news link:

The black and white footage of Bob Marley and The Wailer revealed a most intimate portrait of the most important artist of the 20th century. This is accompanied by Esther's never-seen-before photographs of Bob Marley before the legend, plus her iconic images of Bob Marley and The Wailers form the albums Catch a Fire and Burnin'.

The film premiere also launched an amazing original Reggae soundtrack by the Wailers' bass player and Bob Marley's music arranger Aston Familyman Barrett with his son Aston Barrett Jr. Among the featured songs are "Love, Peace in Harmony" and "Spirit is Alive" by Esther's brother Chris Anderson; "Babylon is Burning" and "Love Reggae Music" by Akila Barrett, son of legendary Wailers drummer Carlie Barrett; "One World" by Francis Jocky; "So it Goes" by Marcia Higgs, daughter of Joe Higgs; "Lessons in my Life" by Andrew Tosh and Kymani Marley, sons of Peter Tosh and Bob Marley; "Cry for Love" by Tim Hain, featured in the promotional video; "ILiver I" by Lioness Fonts; and "Chant Down Babylon" by Singer Jah & Sabo Khani
